Membership dues for 2014 will be due (by May 1st). Non-current members will be moved to the inactive list after that date and must be re-instated to active status by paying their dues, the re-instatement fee ($10), and be present at the next meeting to be voted on by the membership.
CIC Video on new law: A new law requiring out-of-State contractors to meet certain requirements to bid and do jobs here in Oklahoma went into effect today Nov. 1st, 2012. You can watch a video addressing the new law and how to help ensure its effectiveness by going to this link new law for out-of-State Contractors and watching it. It's very good, I watched it today before posting it.
Legislation: HB 1866 moved the Alarm & Locksmith Industry to the Department of Labor from the Health Department effective November 1, 2012.
